Noriki Nishida is a Research Scientist at RIKEN Center for Advanced Intelligence Project (AIP), Japan. Previously, he received his Ph.D. degree in Information Science and Technology from The University of Tokyo in 2020.
His research centers on natural language processing, with a particular focus on how knowledge can be extracted, organized, retrieved, and used to solve complex problems. Recently, his work has particularly focused on expanding and managing external knowledge systems for large language models. He has also maintained a longstanding interest in (multimodal) discourse analysis since his doctoral research.

• April 2024: Our paper titled "Weakly Supervised Named Entity Recognition Using Thesaurus with Hierarchical Structure" (Shibahara et al.) has been accepted by Journal of Natura Language Processing.
• Febrary 2024: Our paper titled "Recent Trends in Personalized Dialogue Generation: A Review of Datasets, Methogolodies, and Evaluations" (Chen et al.) has been accepted by LREC-COLING 2024!
