Noriki Nishida is a researcher at RIKEN Center for Advanced Intelligence Project (AIP), Japan.
Previously, he received his Ph.D. degree in 2020 from The University of Tokyo.
He is working on natural language processing, especially discourse analysis, knowledge acquisition, and their medical and healthcare applications.
He is interested in automatically extracting and systematizing specialized knowledge from large collections of documents.

- July 2024: Our paper titled "Mention-Agnostic Information Extraction for Ontological Annotation of Biomedical Articles" has been accepted by BioNLP 2024 co-located with ACL 2024.
- April 2024: Our paper titled "Weakly Supervised Named Entity Recognition Using Thesaurus with Hierarchical Structure" has been accepted by Journal of Natura Language Processing.
- Febrary 2024: Our paper titled "Recent Trends in Personalized Dialogue Generation: A Review of Datasets, Methogolodies, and Evaluations" has been accepted by LREC-COLING 2024!
- June 2023: I will give a talk titled "Standard Supervision vs. In-Context Learning in NLP" at GPT4 Journal Club Series (RIKEN AIP mini workshop).

- March 2022: Our paper titled "RNSum: A Large-Scale Dataset for Automatic Release Note Generation via Commit Logs Summarization" has been accepted by ACL 2022.
- October 2021: Our paper titled "Out-of-Domain Discourse Dependency Parsing via Bootstrapping: An Empirical Analysis on Its Effectiveness and Limitation" has been accepted by Transactions of the Association for Computational Linguistics (TACL) and will be presented at ACL 2022.
